Tribe of Us Inc. is dedicated to transforming the culture within the black community.
We envision a black community that is empowered, thriving, and free from systemic barriers. Through our initiatives, we strive to foster a culture of education, innovation, and self-empowerment. We aim to create a community where every individual has equal opportunities to succeed, and where access to quality education and nutritious food is readily available.
we see the Egungun (ancestors) in every man woman and child that was brought here during the Transatlantic Slave trade. we believe that realigning our paths to the paths of our Egungun who lived before Slavery and colonialism, will bring about positive and long-lasting change in the Diaspora community.
Food Drives and Community Initiatives:
We recognize the importance of addressing food insecurity within the black community. Our organization organizes food drives, partners with local food banks, and establishes community gardens to provide nutritious food to those in need. We also offer educational programs on nutrition and healthy eating habits to promote overall well-being.
STEM Education and Empowerment:
We believe in the power of STEM education to transform lives and open doors to opportunities. Our program focuses on providing access to STEM education, resources, and mentorship for black youth. We establish STEM clubs, organize workshops, and offer scholarships to encourage and support their pursuit of STEM careers.
Cultural Transformation:
We aim to change the culture within the black community by promoting positive values, self-empowerment, and unity. Through workshops, seminars, and community events, we address issues such as violence, substance abuse, and negative stereotypes. We encourage dialogue, promote self-worth, and provide resources for personal and professional development.
Mission: Our mission is to promote education, empowerment, and self-sufficiency while addressing systemic issues and promoting equality. We aim to provide access to STEM education and resources, as well as address food insecurity through food drives and community initiatives.
